Solar Power Supply
An optional extra is a PV power supply for the pump and controls, which replaces the mains electric power supply.
This comprises a photovoltaic (mains or PV) panel measuring 638mm x 278mm, which comes complete with brackets for roof mounting. When fitted, the solar system is no longer dependent on a mains power supply, has no fuel running costs of any kind and will work in remote applications and during power cuts.
Installation is easier and safer, as a power socket is no longer required to be fitted and no 240 volt mains wiring is required. Also running costs are zero, the whole system running just on the occasional top up of plain tap water!
